    Join in the fun as the Missouri City Juneteenth Celebration Foundation (MCJCF) holds their Annual MCJCF “Scholarship” Golf Tournament which is open to all individuals and skill levels. Numerous contests on the course will highlight this “FUNDRAISING” golf outing with fabulous goodie bags and a post-event awards luncheon.

  2. Regular City Council Meeting

    The City Council meets regularly on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7:00 p.m. The meetings are open to the public. The City Council sets policy for the governance of the City of Missouri City. Missouri City Television rebroadcasts regular City Council meetings on Channel 16 on Comcast Cable and on Channel 99 on U-Verse.

  3. Missouri City Juneteenth Community Service Awards Gala

    One facet of our celebration is the Community Service Awards Gala. This event was initiated and established in 2006 to bring recognition to area community leaders. This year's Keynote Speaker is Dr. Ruth J. Simmons, President of Prairie View A&M University and the Community Service Honorees are District Attorney Brian M.     Pickleball is a racquet sport played by 2-4 people that has elements similar to badminton and tennis. This class is for ages 13-18 and will teach the rules and basics of pickleball. Join us to learn a new sport this summer! This program offers drop in options as well as a 6 week session taking place Mondays June 17-Aug 5 skipping July 1 and July 15.
